Cons

The size of the storage box is a little deceiving as it is much larger than needed for just this set. But this does mean that you will have enough room for any further sets of Duplo that may acquire over time. The set would also benefit from the inclusion of a foundation base to build on.

A well known and popular building blocks set for you toddler to start building with as they expand their imaginations. It can also be added to as they, and your family grow. The main advantage over wooden blocks is that these bricks can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

Cons

Whilst the toy comes with a sturdy wooden box for storage, there is no lid so the pieces can end up getting scattered. The pattern boards are completely flat so some children may get frustrated as the pieces can be easily knocked out of position.

Bottom Line

This is a pretty basic shape matching and pattern set. It is ideal for toddlers of 3+ who have good fine motor skills and will enjoy manipulating the blocks and designing patterns. However some children find the free movement of the blocks frustrating and may be better suited to block sets that fix together.
